2024 CYO Girls' Volleyball Championship

What a day it was!!!! The 2024 CYO Girls' Volleyball Finals were spectacular with 3 out of the 4 matches going to a third game, and the one that didn't easily could have.

The 8th grade match seen St. Mary Crown Point take the first game 25-22 and then St. Michaels win the second game 25-11. In the pivotal third game, St. Michaels held on for a 15-9 win.

The 7th grade match seen a couple of veteran coaches take the floor, St. John Baptist coach Carol Kruszynski (Coach K) and St. Marys' coach Debbie Abad. Though St. John the Baptist won 25-12 and 25-18 other than a run by SJB this was a very fun match.

The 6th grade match pitted St. John the Baptist against the Stars from Nativity of Our Savior. In a back and forth match SJB prevailed 21-16, 17-21 and 15-10.

In our first match of the day, an indicator for what was to be, the Irish of St. Patricks' held off the Eagles of St. John the Evangelist 21-18, 6-21 and 15-4.

This regular season and finals were extremely competitive. We had a lot of 3 game matches. We hope you the parents and especially the players enjoyed the season and are already looking to next season.
